Website Instructions
1) Connect to the internet and go to your website http://www.ddsunrealty.com
2) Click on Listings
3) Click on Sun logo in picture
4) Log On
Enter your user name and password.
If you forget your password click the link at the log on screen and follow the instructions. We will need to send you another password via e-mail.
5) Choose what yu want to do from the Main Menu
Home Takes you to your website.
New Listing Takes you to an add new listing form.
View Takes you to a search form to find a listing(s) to view.
Trash Takes you to delete old listings ONLY, you delete photos and maps differently.
Make Changes Takes you to a modify listing form. Make changes to listing information, maps and photo assignments here.
Also you can change your password from this Menu
6) Fill in the form
Choose a catagory for the listing (required)
Sale Pending and Sold These are used as a listing modification of course. If you choose"Yes" to either a Sold or Sale Pending banner will be display with the listing.
File No. This is your inter-office number.
Listing No Predetermined by the computer. The program has special purposes for its use.
Date Date you entered a new listing to your website
Street, City, State and Zip Spelling and correctness are very important here. The mapping feature get its information here.
Directions Directions in your own words using local street names and landmarks. Entering directions is optional but suggested especially if a map is not available from a mapping source.
"Choose as many that apply" fields To choose only one, click once on your choice. If you need to choose more than one, hold your"Ctrl" key down and click on choices. When finished release the"Crtl" key. Your selections will be highlighted and move on to the next field.

Map Once you have entered the street address, city, state and zip in the form, click on your preference of mapping sites, Mapblast or Charlotte.com, to get a map to the property.

A separate browser window will open and you will see the mapping site, And if successful the map to your listing will appear.

Both are very reliable mapping sources but you may run into certain areas or addresses that can not be mapped. If this happens try the second mapping source.

1) Click on the map with your RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON

2) A window will open and select"Save picture as"

3) Another window will open and then navigate to your folder where your images are stored on your computer.

4) Double-Click on the folder that stores your maps. This opens the folder so you can save the map image inside it.

5) NAME the file something UNIQUE, we suggest using the"listing addressA",B,C,D,E,F or G, using ONLY LETTERS AND NUMBERS up to 20 Characters

DO NOT change"File Type"

6) Choose"SAVE". The map image is now saved inside the folder on your computer and is ready to be uploaded to the website.

7) Close the browser window for the mapping source

8) Check which mapping source you used just below the Mapblast and Charlotte.com buttons on the listing form.

The empty box below the checkboxes will remain empty while you are adding a NEW listing. If you ever MAKE CHANGES to the listing the box will be filled in with the mapping source you used.

( Once at MapBlast or Charlotte.com you may wish to experiment with different zoom levels and options before saving.)

Assigning and Uploading Photographs and Maps
  • 1) Click the "BROWSE" button, a choose file window will open. You are looking for the photos and map images you have stored on your computer.
  • 2) Navigate to where your photos and maps are stored on your computer.
  • 3) Double-click the file you wish to use.
  • OR
  • 4) Click open. This will place the path and file name into the box to the left of the browse button.

  • 5) Click on Photo 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 buttons will assign the file named in your "Browse" box a rotation number in the PhotoTour. Click Map if it is the map you want to use.
  • If you are going to have only one photo for the listing click "Photo1" before uploading.
  • If you are going to have 2 or more photos assign it a number before uploading.
  • Photos 1-6 must be sequential
    • If you have Photo 1 and 2 assigned, 3 blank, and then 4 assigned , ect., your photo tour will only show Photo 1 and 2 and then repeat photos 1 and 2. If you have more than one photo for this listing, specify when in the photo rotation you would like for it to appear by clicking 1 - 6 . Photo 1 always appears on the following features ; thumbnail photo on search results page, the data sheet, photo enlargement.
  • 6) Click "UPLOAD" after assigning the photo or map and it will be sent to NC Home Finder for processing.
  • Repeat steps above for each photo or map.

Upload Status - After you upload an image (photo or map) this line will tell you if the upload was successful. If unsuccessful an the type of error will be displayed.

Photo Assignment Area - When you assign an image by clicking the Photo1...6 or map buttons the file name will appear in one of the boxes. This area will show how the images are arranged.

The DO NOT USE button will deactivate the image but will not delete the image file from the system. You delete images in the Upload section. Its major use is when you want to rearrange image assignments.

Photos from Scanner or Digital Camera
Existing Photos Start HyperSnap-DX

File>>> Open, navigate to and double-click on ddsun folder (or folder you are saving your listing photos in), double-click on photo file to open>>>

Image>>> Resize ( Keep Aspect should be checked), set width to 300 pixels wide, click Apply, click Done>>>

File>>> Save As, navigate to and double-click on ddsun folder (or folder you are saving your listing photos in), save as type = JPEG, Bits per pixel = checked, Quality Factor = 50%, name the file and click SAVE>>>

Repeat for additional photos

New Photos Photos need to be apx. 300 pixels wide and apx. 200 pixels high
